Being the candy lover that I am, the first place I went to was Honeydukes, while my family went to go eat breakfast at The Three Broomsticks. The prices were pretty high, for example, Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans were ten dollars for a small box of them. I wasn’t going to buy them, as much as I wanted to. I walked around the store pondering on which candies to buy, because they had things from fizzing whizbees to edible dark marks. I ended up walking out of that store with a chocolate frog and an edible dark mark. (Albus Dumbledore was the wizard card I got out of the chocolate frog by the way.)
Zonko’s was right next door, so I went there next. When I walked inside, it was soo loud and I kind of just looked at everything because, like Honeydukes, it was all pretty expensive. I at least took pictures of a bunch of things! One thing to look for, if you get the chance to come here, is
Then, I went and found my family in The Three Broomsticks where they were, of course, eating. I didn’t eat though, because I was too excited so I just gazed around the restaurant; mostly up, because it looked sort of lived in. After The Three Broomsticks, I went to The Forbidden Journey with one of my little brothers where we waited an hour, but it was totally worth it. My brother is not very far into the series, so I told him a bunch of random facts while we were walking through Hogwarts.
I was really intrigued by the Headmaster’s Office and I like the room with all the talking paintings that we walked through. It was really fun riding on an enchanted bench and getting to see things from dementors to a dragon and also having a close call with the Whomping Willow. After the ride, I debated on whether or not to go on the Flight of the Hippogriff, but I had went on it last time I came so I didn’t feel like it was worth the half hour wait. I did not go on the Dragon Challenge, because I am not a big rollercoaster fanatic, so I went with my family to go get some butterbeer. We got some in the Hog’s Head and I could’ve sworn the head on the wall moved. Butterbeer was okay, it wasn’t as good as I expected it to me nor was it the worst thing I’ve ever had in my life. Well, with our drinks in hand, we left that portion of the park to explore the rest of the Islands of Adventure and looking back on it now, I miss it already.
