For a very long time, I’ve loved reading fiction that describes the lives of the next generation of Potters, Weasleys and Malfoys. So for this review, I found a pretty good-albeit a tad long-fanfiction by a user called KimTomPW.

I found the fiction good but I give it a 2 star rating for 2 reasons:
- It was very cliché. Akin to a combination of Tom Riddle’s youth and Harry Potter’s. Many of the occurrences at Hogwarts almost mirror those that occurred in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. You can basically work out the story yourself but yet, you still want to read on.
- The spelling is atrocious. If you’re a grammar and spelling buff, don’t read this, you’ll frustrate yourself majorly. I didn’t enjoy it for these two reasons, but though it was cliché and badly spelled, I persevered.

However, the truly exceptional plot twist for this 10 chapter sequel is that we begin to read about notes received from the Potters who have been in hiding for the past eleven years.
There is one other sequel after this one: Harry Potter: The Return
Again, the spelling is awful but the cliché factor starts to lesson.
All in all, I enjoyed the read, it was like revisiting Harry Potter from a newer angle!
