- What was it like when you joined HOL?
When I first joined HOL, everyone was really nice and welcoming. I made friends pretty easily by coming on IRC daily. I joined at a young age, so I thought it would be hard for me to fit in where most people were older than me. But they took me in like family, which I still appreciate to this day. - What did you get involved in?
Well when I joined, I got involved with IRC and just doing my homework for classes. Then I joined the Sett and started participating more in forum games and such. That led me to discover other things, like the Cheerie-Os which I joined in my first year, as well as the WT (Wizard Times), which is how I got into submitting to HOL papers. It was getting involved in Hufflepuff that made me want to get involved in HOL matters too. - How is it different now?
Well, I think what's changed is my circle of friends now. Some of the people I became close with when I joined aren't around anymore. And then, those who are, I don't get to talk to them as much. And as time passes, I feel more, well, included, than I did in my first year. Most things haven't changed to me though, which is why I'm still here, loving HOL. - What was your favorite class?
I can name you my two favorite classes from each year, 1 per term. In term one of my first year, it was Writing Your Own Fairy Tales. In term two, it was When Muggles and Magic Collide. In term one of my second year, it was Muggle Studies: French Fashion Design. For
- term two it was Internship at the Ministry of Magic. For term one of this year, it was Astrology 101. For this most recent term, it was a tie between Disorders in Harry Potter and Diverse Divination.
- What was your least favorite class?
I pick my classes carefully... I really look for classes that interest me and that seem fun. So I don't really have any least favorite classes. - Did you ever join your house quidditch team?
I remember that after my first time in participating in SQL, HQT's current captain at the time, Lilly Stargazer, had asked me if i wanted to be a S.P.I.T. (a Spiffy-in-Training). So I was on the HQT as a SPIT for a few months, but later I resigned as I had lot of other things in HOL that I did, and I also wanted to focus more on some RL situations of that time. - Is it fun working as an undercover Gryffindor?
Oh definitely! It's fun spying on my Gryffindor friends. It's also a great pastime for when everyone in the Hufflepuff Common Room is either asleep or busy. I love learning new things about the Gryffindors. They are quite interesting people. - What’s your favorite color?
My favorite color is purple. It represents royalty. And it's cool. - Do you have any classes you plan on taking next year?
Actually I don't know because the official class list isn't even out yet. I do like to take classes taught by my friends though, as I find more flexible due dates with them. So, yes, you might see me in the new class of any of my friends! - Is it fun being a student teacher?
Oh yeah it is! It makes me feel in control, and plus as a student teacher you get access to the amazingness of the Staff Room. Plus, every time I award something I get this tingly feeling in me. Yeah, STing rocks. - If you could hang out with one HP graduated student who would it be?
I'd hang out with my namesake, Hermione Granger! I feel like we both have a lot in common. She seems to be a person with traits of various houses, like me. She's just so interesting. - Which HP character do you think you’re most like and why?
I think I'm a mix of Hermione Granger, Colin Creevey, and Luna Lovegood. Hermione represents my wits and knowledge, while Colin represents my occasional annoyingness, excitement, and general optimism. Luna represents a part of me that I am when I daydream. She's the dreamer in me, and she's the admirable loony-ness in me. - What’s it like being a mini prefect?
Being a Mini Prefect is awesome. It gives me a chance to really expand on my ideas. It gives me a chance to bring my own activities to the table. Being a Mini also made me realize how much work the staff does, and it made me more active. It gives me a sense of happiness as I know I am really helping my house out. - What is your favorite part about being a badger?
My favorite part about being a badger is that we're so chill. Like, we're hardworking, but we have this vibe in us that's just MEANT for relaxing. Badgers are also kind of a symbol of me; I may seem adorable and cute, but if you make me mad, I can be vicious. I also love being a badger because I get to have gourmet food from the Kitchens. *nods*
