So my summer vacation was finally about to start, and nothing was going to stop me from travelling around the magic world. Nothing! Well, almost nothing. I thought I could travel through the magical world on my own, even though I’m only 12. Yeah... My parents obviously didn’t see that happening.
Instead of being able to go on the biggest adventure of my life, I had to go on a search. I had to find someone who wanted to travel with me around the country, and let me say this: it isn’t easy to find someone suitable to travel with. My parents declined every one of my friends because they were all the same age as me.
Asking a teacher would have been a bit awkward to do. It wouldn’t happen, although going on a travel adventure with an adult was probably the best way to persuade my parents to let me go. But then again, a twelve year old with an adult... I don’t think I myself nor my parents would like that idea very much.
I could ask older year students. That was the only other possibility I had in mind, but that wasn’t as easy as it sounds. You should have seen the looks that they were giving me. It was as if I was crazy. And yes, maybe I was crazy. I could tell you all about the faces made by the students I asked, but that would be plain boring, just like all the comments they made when I asked them.
In the end, I finally found a suitable person to go with me on my big adventure. At the beginning, she was a bit snarky to me. Snarky but very nice. Here I was, a 12 year old Gryffindor student going on her biggest adventure with a 17 year old Slytherin student. The Slytherin student who was none other than the loveable Buffy Potter.
School was over, summer vacation had started... So here was the lift off! I waved at my parents, with a backpack on my back. Next to me stood Buffy, also with a backpack, waving at her parents. We were leaving off on the very first magical experience. Well, it was my very first experience. Buffy was in her last year, so she had a bit more experience in the magical world. However, this adventure was also the first adventure for Buffy.
First off, we decided to experience the wonderful lives of the elves. I so wanted to see them, wanted to see how they lived, but especially, wanted to see what kind of food they ate.
It was a hard road to meet, no, to find, the Elves. Really, when you need them, they are nowhere to find. I think we were on our tenth or eleventh day of our adventure when we finally met up with a few Elves. I was so happy! We found our very first magical creature that we were looking for...
