The last time I wrote, I left you all standing with this amazing Ranger I met with Buffy Potter. To be honest, after our meeting with this ranger, the vacation was over, which meant we had to go back to school. I had to go back and try out this delicious thing called second year! And Buffy… well, since she’s graduated she decided to do nothing for a whole year. Which is totally understandable.
So, after a year of flogging around and deciding what my next vacation would be, I decided to stick with discovering the magic world. What’s more fun than discovering the magic world when you are muggleborn? Well, I can’t think of anything.
I had to survive the school year to be able to try another survival vacation through the magic world, though! Once more, I also had to convince my beloved parents to let me go, which isn’t as easy as it sounds. They wouldn’t let me go, even though I know magic! Well, I think I forgot to mention that I can’t use any magic outside of school. They thought that a thirteen year old was too young to travel the magic world all by herself. Pfft, what do they know?
So before going on my vacation I had to find the perfect volunteer (said victim) to drag along to the magic world to meet up with the rest of magical creatures I want to meet, which means hobbits, dragons, some wizards, and maybe some more elves. I hope to be able to meet ALL of these creatures during this trip! To make things easy for me, I decided to drag along Buffy again. What is better than dragging a snake along with you on your adventures?
Like I said in the beginning, my travels ended with me and Buffy meeting a Ranger, so I decided on starting my new adventures with meeting these little creatures called Hobbits! I have to say, they are SOME storytellers. They told me stories about rings, kings, evil, wizards, and elves. During all of this, they wouldn’t stop eating! They make whole banquets for every meal, which is amusing to see.
My first meal with the Hobbits was during this amazing organized picnic. I think I never saw this much food during a picnic then when I was with the Hobbits. They brought some delicious food with them. I think what I liked the most during this picnic was these sandwiches that they made.
I think they added cucumber, tomato, roasted beef, and some white stuff on it.
During this picnic, I learned that Hobbits aren’t secretive about their food and their recipes. When I asked how they made these sandwiches, they became so excited, as if nobody ever asked them that question. Then, they taught me how to make these sandwiches. Beside learning how to make the sandwiches, I learned what the white stuff on the sandwiches are!
First you have to take some cucumber, peel them, and slice them by the length. After that you have to sprinkle them with salt and put them to the side. Take some tomatoes, apple, and roasted beef and slice those ingredients in dices. Then, take your salted cucumbers and wash them under some water, letting them drip for a moment. After that, you can slice those cucumbers into pieces.
Take some cottage cheese (apparently this is the white stuff they use) and mix the ingredients with the cheese. Then, take some slices of bread; they used brown bread, but I guess you can use all kinds of bread. Spread the cheese mixture on it and top it with another slice of bread.
And TADA! You’re done! Taste it, enjoy it, love it, and make some more of it!
