Like every year we started this year’s festival with an amazing motto contest. A motto that would highlight this year’s festival. This year the lucky motto was “Gryfftoberfest: WARNING Highly Contagious” thought up by the lovely lion Jacqualine Snape.
This year there has been various activities to let all the lions enjoy Gryfftoberfest. Were Prof. Dario organised a delightful Butterbeer party. Like a true professor he let all the Gryffindor students do all the shopping. I would say a very clever way to organise a Butterbeer party. But I have to say that I loved the party itself. I think I couldn’t see a glass of butterbeer in the end of at least a day. Luckily it wasn’t a coffee party since I think I wouldn’t survive not seeing coffee for a whole day. Although I don’t think I would ever have enough of coffee. But let me not go on about this. The Butterbeer Party was a huge success and we had lots of fun together.
Beside the Butterbeer party, which gave us a lot of joy and fun, we also had some scary stuff going on. There were those scary carved pumpkins. I think I never can look at a pumpkin normal again. Not to mention the Haunted Houses the students created. After going through these Haunted Houses, I couldn’t watch any of the lions straight in their eyes without setting it for a run.
All in all this year there was some crazy stuff going on in the Gryffindor Common Room.
