You may have noticed a peppy little cheer of a comment showing up on your profile in the past couple of weeks. That’s because your awesome spice squad has been putting up our may/spring profile cheers! Profile cheers are just some of the many things that the spice squad does for you here at Gryffindor. Every month or two, we go around to all the lovely members of our house and give them a little inspiration to earn some points and show how much you love your house! This month’s cheer was made by the super awesome Destri Weasley! She’s really cool, if you don’t already know her. Be sure to thank
You may have noticed the house activity for the month of May, the Lion King and Queen Competition! That was brought to you by who else, but your Spice Squad. Thank you to all who ran, it really turned out great. Even if you didn’t run, but you still took part in voting, thank you for that too, because without all of you, we never could have made it such a success. The idea was brought to you by Chadwick Cadet back in the fall, but this spring we really started to plan and put our heads together about how we could actually make it happen. We hoped you guys had fun in it, voting and running, because we know we sure did!
Now, you may be asking who the Spice Squad is, what we stand for, and what we do. We are Gryffindors cheerleaders! Well, our main purpose is to keep house spirit up and cheer on not only GQT, but everyone! We’re not your average cheerleaders. We’re a bit insane, fun loving, and some of the coolest people you’ll ever meet. Our super awesome captain is Hailey Potter, and our Co-Captain is Maria Vianney Gracia. We spices are a bit of a crazy bunch, so their jobs can be hard sometimes, keeping us in check, but they do it with great finesse. We cheer, plan, and make sure to have plenty of fun while doing it. If you think you have what it takes to be a Spice, feel free to join us! We are always looking for new spices! In the common room you can walk right into the Spice Jar, and that gives you information of how to join, what you need to join, and who to send your application into. We’re always busy with something, and the more hands on deck, the better. Trust me - joining the Spices is something you won’t regret!
