Pandora Gotham is the assistant head librarian. She started off as just the head of poetry, which she still is now, but she did great work there where she is an excellent poet herself, and her application was excellent so recently she has been promoted to the assistant head librarian. Our junior assistant head library is Wicket Wilcox. She is also one of the heads of Prose, and an author herself, and she had a great application as well. In the Poetry department we have, like I said: Pandora Gotham as the head and Destri Weasley as the assistant head. In Prose we have 2 heads: Wicket Wilcox and Ardeliah Longbottom. The Assistant Head of Prose is Chadwick Cadet. In our lovely book club, the head is Kadina Tigano and the assistant heads are Hailey Potter and Risa Swan. Ardeliah Longbottom also is in charge of doing reality checks each month, where she tells us about special holidays and important days in that month, as well as some beautiful quotes about the month to get everyone back into reality and pumped for a new month. You should alllllll check out the September Reality Check, and keep coming back for more as the months go on.
The next thing I'd like to alert/tell you about is monthly challenges! Prose and Poetry each month will give you a monthly challenge for you to write about in their departments to keep adding poetry and writing into our library, and soon those challenges will be for beans! You should all participate in those; they're a great way to get your brain flowing and make our library bigger. A
The third thing I'd like to mention is plagiarism. We've seen a little bit of this in the library and we are not happy. Plagiarism (Or stealing someone else's work or ideas and calling it your own) is illegal and a serious crime, and it will not be tolerated. You get one strike, where you will be warned and your story or poem will be taken down, and if you do it again after that, we hate to say this, but you'll be banned from posting and participating in the library. Plagiarism is not okay and we hope that we won't have to deal with it, but if you plagiarize you will be caught, and appropriate actions will be taken. It is 100% fine to post a poem that you've read and you like, or something that inspires you, but be sure to give appropriate credit to the original author or authors.
My last thing I wanted to mention is a few places in the library that you can go to get questions answered or see important announcements. The help desk is the place to go for questions, and there is also a list of head staff there that you can PM if you have questions that you don't want to post in the general thread. Also for any library announcements, there's a thread in the very main part of the library. Please only Library head staff post there!
All right! That's everything! Our Library here is awesome, and it can only get better as more work is added, so check it out!
