It’s October, the most exciting month for every Gryff! The month where we all can go crazy with the amazement of Gryfftoberfest. The best event that takes place throughout the year. And this year as well it was - no it is! - an amazing month! And it still isn’t over yet.
Well, for those around you who don’t know what the amazement of Gryfftoberfest is, it’s the time when every Lion can act out and go all crazy, and when chaos takes control. The time when butterbeer is served on a daily, maybe hourly, basis.
But besides the nicely structured chaos that is hanging around the Gryffindor Common Room, there are also a lot of awesome activities students can do. Like how we could mess around with the Common Room by letting Jello fly around! It was a gigantic green Jello war! It even messed with our Head of House’s favorite food. (Obviously her bowl of Ramen.) I think we managed to get out of it without getting harmed by the wrath of Missa.
Besides the gigantic Jello war, there were also walruses flying around the Common Room. How they got there... well I don’t know and I really can’t explain; it’s still a mystery! I think it was a side-effect from all of the Jello. Isn’t it a fact that walruses likes jello? So that would explain that mystery.
Getting on with Gryfftoberfest... well, obviously besides attacking our Common Room with Jello and walruses, we were trying to get students to do their homework while we were trying to skip
So we have ditching homework, flying jello and walruses. What’s more to want? Obviously there is more! We were also holding our own little contests. Well, more like some ghost wanted to know if there was anybody within Gryffindor who has the Weasley twin blood in them. Who is the best at creating an awesome trick that even makes our poltergeist astonished? And then the Fat Lady wanted a new dress. Just to tell you guys: it’s pretty hard to create a pretty dress for the Fat Lady that she actually likes. She’s really picky! Glad I didn’t try to make something for her. I don’t think I could handle the critique she would give me.
And then there was also the hunt for bewitched items, which our amazing Hailey Potter managed to hide so well. Without even telling what, how many, and where she hid everything, it was kind of frustrating to find those things! And just plain evil. I’m still looking through everything, in the hope that somewhere I might find a hidden item, but up until now, I’ve had no luck. Hailey really should learn to put spells on items so that instead of having to look for them, they would all come looking for me. That’s a much better option.
But that aside, this is just a small portion of what kind of craziness appears within the Gryffindor Common Room, where we let our chaos go out of control. Have fun with everything that happens in October, including the awesomeness of Halloween!
And with that said, I would like to remind all of you: “The voices in our heads agree - We are not CRAZY!!!”
