For those who follow the activities in Gryffindor, you should have noticed that the Grinch became incredibly active in our very own Lion den. It was devastating to see the Gryffindor Common Room without any Christmas decorations. It almost felt like a chilly wind blowing through the Common Room without those pretty Christmas decorations.
It was a quiet night at the beginning of December when the Grinch attacked the Common Room. We never saw it coming. The next morning, suddenly all the Christmas decorations were vanished. Here and there, we could find traces of destruction.
In the beginning, we were suspicious of one of the other houses, because you never know who would like to terrorize Gryffindor. It soon became clear though that it was an inside job. Who else could come in the Common Room without anyone noticing?
Of course, the Gryffindor detective team looked into possible outside suspects: Prof. Tarma Black, Head Girl Amy Lupin, or even Fumei Shirokuro’s colour twin Prof. Opal Curare. In the end, it seemed like none of them were responsible.
So all three houses were in the clear, which meant it was an inside job. But who would want to keep Gryffindor from having a Christmas? Surely there isn’t anyone in Gryffindor who is a Grinch? Let’s keep this thought in our mind for a while.
