This time we are going back to the poems again! (but then again if you really want to try and write a song, you may do that!) This months challenge is to write a love poem to the person you love. This may be a person in real life. Or just some random friend on HOL! Be creative what you do!
By Guinevere Avalon Slowly but surely,
love found us, hot and weary. Will it die out now? No one knows, alright? Just accept the gift of love, that cupids gave us. Early caught my eye, first year of uni med school. Now we're together. Two years had passed by, love's flame still burns very bright, seems none can douse it. We had our big fights, but even more happiness. Meant for each other. Everyone can see, our love has meant to exist, and to set us free. Let's be together for one century or four and forevermore. By Ariella McManus I could go on about your eyes or how
Time stops when you walk by I could even go so far And call you my heart's 'sun and stars'. Yes, I suppose that those could do And in a sense, they would be true True love for you is what I feel But this is us--come on, get real! We cry, we laugh, we tease, we play We share a loathing for Valentine's Day I hate to say it, but sometimes we fight. We don't eat dinner by candlelight. I don't like hugs, you don't like deep talks We don't take long romantic walks Your humor is childish, my wit is sarcastic Traditionally romantic, we're 'less than fantastic'. But through it all, we've stayed together. Many a storm we've had to weather. Traditional? No. Perfect? Quite true! I couldn't imagine a 'me' without 'you'. Happy Valentine's Day, Honey! By Shiloh Adlar If I had loved you
a past time before if I had loved you my heart be not sore If I had loved you my tears might see end if I had loved you my soul could I mend But I could not love you for spite in my own but I could not love you if I had but known I would have loved you Time and again I would have loved you as more than a friend Now here I forlorn stand at your gravesite my love unconcealed on this stormy night I always loved you this had I swore I’ll always love you forever and more |
