As we all know, GTA 5 has been out on the shelves for about a month now and is one of the best-selling games ever with sales way past the $1 billion mark. Previously, Rockstar had stated that the game would only be released for the consoles with no news about whether or not there would be a PC version of the game. However, at Eurogamer, an anonymous source stated that Rockstar is going to release GTA 5 for the PC during the first quarter of 2014. PC gamers, time to rejoice!
Pokemon X and Y has been one of the most anticipated titles for the Nintendo 3DS and it looks impressive! The new generation of Pokemon looks good, with the return of Mewtwo and a new type of Eevee, Sylveon, is the new Fair Type. Pokemon X and Y is based in the new Kalos Region, which is shaped like a star. At the beginning of the game, you start off in Vaniville town, and head on over to Santalune City, where you face the Santalune City Gym Leader, who uses Bug Type Pokemon! A cool new feature that has been added is that you can now obtain Roller Skates!
Now, for the two biggest heavyweights in the football/soccer industry, FIFA 14 and PES 14 go head to head in a battle of which Konami is going on the right path.
Gameplay
Konami has done brilliantly, with this year’s FOX engine, which brings a whole new level of gameplay in the PES franchise. Player movements and body collisions are much more realistic and passing is more fluent. The added bonus is that the stadiums look much clearer and the crowd isn’t pixelated cardboard. You will see the brilliant crowd physics, more notably in the Allianz Arena, home to FC Bayern Munich.
Graphics
PES has again worked hard to maintain the realism in the game. Players look more realistic, and a lot of attention has been put onto the players’ facial expression, as well as the cloths on the kits.
