SuperSTAR Shenanigans

You might be wondering what “help” a new first year student can offer, but I am here to show you just that. With one year of schooling almost done, I have gained a lot of knowledge – most of it out of the classroom, and I want to share some of that with you now. Sure, being able to navigate the moving staircases is useful, but is that really the most useful thing you could have learned this year? I think not.
If you want to succeed in your years at Hogwarts, there is one thing you must be absolutely sure you do – get your picture hung up in the Slytherin Head of House’s office. That’s right, Professor Daphne Marin-Booth not only accepts pictures inside of her office, she relishes them. She has even been known to give extra points on assignments and examinations in her classes to students that have more pictures of themselves in her office. I found this out the only way that is reliable, and that was through experience.
It was early on in the year that I noticed she had a picture of the Slytherin Quidditch Team in her office when I was doing my usual evening stroll through the dungeons. Later on I noticed how she treated members in that picture differently than other students, and it was then that I knew I needed my picture in her office. My original plan was to get just one picture in there – so I selected my most dashing image and slide it under the door when she wasn’t there. I noticed after this happened that Professor Marin-Booth looked at me differently. I could only assume this was due to her great admiration and new found respect for me, but she didn’t seem to treat me quite the way I wanted.
So I slid another picture under her door. This time the Slytherin HoH gave me a much stronger look at our next class. I knew I was getting close to being her favorite student, so I once more went to her office. This time I noticed that she had her door sealed somehow so that I couldn’t slide any pictures underneath. I suspected this was to keep out pesky animals or vermin. I was quite stumped at first and almost gave up, when I realized that there was a slight crack in the dungeon wall outside her office (it’s to the right of the entrance on the ground if you are looking for it). Elated I soon found that if I rolled up the picture I could get it through the crack and it unraveled on the other side! Why yes, I had once more done it – and this time my efforts did not go without a remark.
In my next class with the Slytherin Head of House she not only seemed exuberant about my ingenuity, she rewarded me with a private session with her! Someone called it detention, but I knew that was what the jealous kids called the occasion, for it seemed clear to me that I was finally one of Professor Marin-Booth’s favorite students! Since my most recent flooding of her office with my brilliant pictures, she has rewarded me by having me sit right next to her in class and I even get to stay after class and help clean with her! It’s been wonderful!
So there you have it – if you have a desire to have even half as awesome of an experience as I will at Hogwarts, I would suggest getting photos of you up in her office as soon as you can! Your welcome in advance.
