Fanfiction Name: A Christmas Tale
Author: Puzzsta
The poem is centered on the night before Voldemort killed the Potters in cold, murderous blood (we all hate that moldy Voldy!). It has a good feel about it, not too dire considering the incoming attack from He Who Must Not Be Named, yet it also has that holiday mood; the decorating, the presents, the play. I love how we can see in our mind’s eye little baby Harry playing on his mini-broom and flying around while his mum is busy making food for Christmas dinner. All it needs is the food! What’s a holiday without food, after all!?

This is a longer poem, with a bit more of a soulful feel to it. Nothing related to Harry Potter, but with an air of Christmasy delight. It speaks to every person who celebrates the holiday, talking about the festivities and the hopefulness behind this holiday.

Funny! And what’s a holiday without laughter! The laughter of children as they open their gifts, the delight of grandparents as their grandkids tell funny tales of their toys, children and parents alike hyper on candies and brightening up a usually dull day. Holidays are not holidays without the laughter.
And since this is Harry Potter themed laughter, it’s all the more fun! Especially the Gryffindor reference! I like the tone and humour, the merriness of a Christmas carol tune and the joyous spirit in which it was written.

I like this little Christmas song; it is funny and ingenious but it gets a taaad bit tedious too. I like how all of the presents Harry Potter gets are relevant and correspond to those who gave it to him. My favourite was Trelawney’s seven death omens! The author of this somewhat long poem made it all very funny and light-hearted, and after all, that’s what holiday spirit is about!
