I’ll try to keep this as brief as possible but we’ve got a lot of updates this month!
First and foremost, Spice Squad has had a bit of a change in captains. After a year serving as co-captain, Maria Vianney Gracia has returned to the ranks of a normal Spice. If you see her around, make sure to thank her for her service!
But, alas, the vacant position of co-captain was not empty for long. After lots of consideration and due to the intense number of projects we’ve got going that you’ll see outlined above, Bay Reilly and Chadwick Cadet have agreed to share the role of co-captain! Yes, Spice Squad has now upgraded to two co-captains! I am super excited for this school year knowing I have these two wonderfully innovative and intuitive ladies officially working alongside me. When you see them in channels or forums, please make sure to congratulate them!
Next, Spice Squad has been contemplating ideas all summer in order to make this year increasingly better for the coming year. To give you some ideas of what exactly those ideas are… we’re working on class descriptions to help all you lions choose the best classes for yourselves, and we’ll let you know the second we get it completed! We’re also working on a birthday project, a fantastic idea that came from one of our newest Spices Victoria Henry, which will hopefully be implemented by your next birthday. We’ve been working on coming up with ways to
But the biggest activity is indeed our year long challenge, Gryffindor for Third. If you have yet to check it out, please do! You can find all the information in Spice Jar. Please don’t hesitate to get involved; we want as many excited lions as possible, ready to do whatever it takes to NOT COME IN LAST in the House Cup!!!
The Spice Squad welcomes you to the Year of the Lion and hopes you have a wonderful year ahead of you!
Sincerely,
Hailey Potter
Captain, Spice Squad
P.S. So who we fighting for, Gryffindor, give it up for the red and gold!!
