The Paw Print hasn’t been exactly swimming with a vast amount of articles lately so I thought I’d write one myself. As I stare at a blank page, I began pondering what I could write about. My mind wandered to my recent vacation, perhaps because I visited many a fairy tale castle last week and am currently watching Cinderella at the moment, whose castle was one of the several I did visit. Also visited were Ariel’s castle and the village near Belle’s castle (while I did not get to see inside these castles, I did see their outward appearances), but the most important castle was what we call home: Hogwarts, which is so massive, beautiful, and magical that it really is like no other place. I found myself reflecting on my last visit, and how much has changed since then.
My first visit to Hogwarts renewed my interest in HOL. Although I’ve been on HOL for 10 years now and had a short few months of activity as a member of the infamous Toffee Tiger den, it was that trip that truly brought me here. When I came back, it was in lieu of a newly sparked obsession with Harry Potter thanks to my trip to Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. I got involved with my den, the newly born Mighty Manticores, and soon my den leader Jinxy Jo sent me a PM suggesting that I go for junior prefect.
