By Sirius Fudge Flowers here and flowers over there Tulips,
daffodils and some bluebells Buzzing bees and chirping birds Hooray, hooray! It's spring once again. Snow melting, beavers waking Shades of green are everywhere sprouting The rays of sun in the skin are falling Hooray, hooray! It's spring once again. Toads are croaking, rivers are flowing Fish are busy in the sea, swimming All of nature's alive in this morning Hooray, hooray! It's spring once again. Spring's this lively, spring's this happy! What are you doing? Be a busy bee! The outside is noisy, it is full of glee. Hooray, hooray! Once again, it's spring. Everyone's alright, everything's bright The world has awaken from the long night Time to take flight, while our dream's in sight Hooray! The spring is here! Ayt! By Matilde RayneSpring is coming now;
The sun peeks around the clouds And snow stops falling. Little shoots show and Appear with every shower – Stems begin to grow. A bright daffodil Shines like the sun in the morn’ For us all to see. Bluebells say hello As they reach out from the ground, Waving in the breeze. Some bees light upon The petals of the Snowdrop, Sending dew below Chirp! Chirp! Says the bird As it lights upon the branch, Tending to its nest The snow melt flows by In tiny streams, icy cold. Soon they disappear. The still frosty stream Hides tadpoles in its shallows: Some with tails, some not. Soon they will be frogs – Life cycles will be fulfilled As they hop along. Spring blooms into life In every crack and crevice, Greeting times ahead. By Guinevere AvalonThe snow had finally melt,
the winter had ended, I don't think it can even be comprehended, how I'm happy that many flowers can now be smelt. Snowdrops are peeking out of the ground, a swallow is returing to its nest, aren't you glad about the sound, of light rain showers in the West. Rays of sunshine are brightening my face, Tadpoles are being born every day, spring is quickening its pace, are those horses I hear neigh? Children are playing in the grass, boys are glad to be out of the class. Girls are making bouquets from daffodils and bluebells, it's so beautiful as if a witch cast many spells. Too bad spring doesn't last longer, or that flowers' smell isn't any stronger. But life cycle must turn around, it won't be long until again we hear spring's sound. |
