Snow is falling through the night,
as everybody sleeps,
in the morning they'll get a fright,
since there are heaps and heaps.
Ice is sticking to the roads,
and ponds, and lakes, and cars,
and everyone is stuck in one of many worry modes,
they wish they had heat from Mars.
But one day soon the snow will melt, and all will be well,
but hopefully it's soon because enough people have fell.
Lions are stretched out in their dens,
for snow is everywhere,
the temperature is almost in the tens,
it's more than they can bear.
They take their cubs in their paws,
so they can become warm,
as they sit their cub's body thaws,
and they hope there is no storm.
When all the cubs are put to bed,
they snuggle all together,
they're warm and comfortable and fed,
and they're ready for warm weather.
